Mark Fickett Art: Experiment With Holes

side

The match to Experiment with Feet. This one is the less convenient to use (especially when trying, for example, to pour cereal), though the holes are — as was the intent — translucent, which produces a nice effect. Poking and cleaning (before bisque), sanding (after bisque), and daubing glaze on and in the holes was rather labor-intensive, but they came out both clear of clay debris and water-tight.
